Two wildfires burned in northern San Diego county Wednesday afternoon, in Pala, just south of the Pechanga Indian Reservation, and on Camp Pendleton. The Camp Pendleton fire was the largest at greater than 500 acres. The Pala fire was reportedly 40 acres in size as of 5pm Wednesday.
